How can I share with you my experience of Africa?

Africa is so diverse and ever changing. I am afraid that whatever I write will fail to describe the scope of this beautiful place

I can only hope to give you a taste of the place I now call home and the people I call my family.

It is a place full of joy today, as we find out five year old Hannah is HIV negative. She is no longer just another child with HIV in a land plagued with child deaths.  Before we met Hannah, everyone in her life had abandoned her. Hannah’s father had left her with strangers in the slums of Kampala - with no hopes of returning to one day to bring her home.

Everyone around her knew that her parents were dying of AIDS and assumed Hannah would also follow that route.  Now Hannah has hope.  She’s loved and part of a family.

"I am so blessed to be part of this    family. We are a family bound together by love - fighting the systems of poverty that lurk to destroy us." - Dan Adams
